Fun, fellowship, creativity, imagination and a workshop that helps you write more descriptively and powerfully for readers (or self-expression for just yourself).
After introductions, the form of the meeting goes something like this:
1. A writing exercise guided by Trevor
2. Time for personal creative writing, and later, sharing with the group
3. Chat, drinks, and dinner (optional)–social time basically.
4. There is an opportunity to publish your work on the group’s blog. (Optional–The blog is largely for participants but it is searchable on the web–Pseudonyms are ok, but not encouraged—we should own our work unless there is very good reason not too).
Trevor will be returning from his native New Zealand where he launching a book of poetry so there will be a discussion on how to get published.
