Terrible Art Night

19 September 2026
19h00 - 21h00

We organise Fast Friending social events that help people meet new friends through a series of short, guided conversations. Our guests are mainly professionals, expats, newcomers, and internationally minded locals, typically aged 21–45. Many people attend on their own, so our friendly host welcomes everyone, makes introductions, and helps create a comfortable and inclusive atmosphere from the moment guests arrive.

For this event, we are combining our usual Fast Friends format with a fun “Terrible Art Night” theme.

The format will be:

• Guests arrive, order drinks/food directly from the café, and settle into the private room.
• We provide simple drawing materials — A4 paper, pencils and erasers.
• Guests take part in short, fun and deliberately silly drawing challenges. No artistic ability is required — the worse the drawing, the better!
• Between the drawing challenges, we run our guided Fast Friending rounds, where guests speak with a new person every 3–5 minutes using light, themed conversation questions.
• We may finish with a fun “terrible art” showcase/vote, simply to add to the atmosphere and encourage everyone to laugh and interact.
• After the structured session, guests are welcome to stay, continue conversations, mingle freely, and order additional drinks and food.

The Terrible Art element is not an art class or workshop. It is simply a fun icebreaker designed to make it easier for people to relax, laugh together and start conversations.

The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and respectful. This is not a speed-dating event — our focus is on friendship, meeting new people and expanding social circles.
