Gluten free bread

Our bread: Leo Multigrain from Bonsæns

Whether you order a soup, salad or breakfast at the Sister Brussels Café, you expect quality, organic food that tastes great and gets you running at full speed. One of the keys to gaining this energy? Bread. And that’s why we only offer you the best bread there is.

A Belgian company, Bonsæns makes everything from delightful patisserie treats to gourmet breads. They attracted us by making their range entirely from ingredients that are certified organic.
Plus, their bread is free from gluten, added gums, starches and emulsifiers and developed in collaboration with nutritionists to ensure it contains all the right fibres, lipids and proteins for the
right glycaemic index.
But this is only part of the reason we decided the Leo Multigrain was the perfect accompaniment for the items on our menu. We also discovered that without the chemicals and laboratory nasties, the true tastes of the ingredients stand out.

This is important with any bread. But it’s especially rewarding with a multigrain. You have so many interesting little flavours, you really want them to experience them in full.
It ticks another box too: we wanted to serve you a gluten-free bread. We know they’re most frequently associated with gluten intolerance, but the reality is that everyone is free to enjoy gluten-free products.
This bread is great sliced, torn into chunks to dip in soup, awesome toasted, phenomenal with a little avocado, delicious with a salad, and ideal for vegetarians and vegans. The only downside?
It’s so versatile and enjoyable, you risk abandoning other breads!

With the obvious exception of our focaccias, Leo Multigrain dominates our menu!

Would you like to know more about our bread? Or about anything else on our menu? Feel free to ask. We take pride in the choices we make and will gladly tell you about them.
